The Park District of Ottawa County hosted a Tweet Treat Birdseed Ornament Craft activity on Feb. 21 in partnership with Ida Rupp Public Library. While participants made birdseed ornaments to hang on trees, Park District Executive Director Jannah Wilson gave an educational talk on common backyard birds in Northwest Ohio. Park District Administrative Specialist Sara Hill led participants in making the birdseed mixture and crafting the ornaments.

Supplies were provided by the park district. Wilson wishes to thank Ida Rupp Public Library for hosting this free, family-friendly program and providing a wide display of backyard birding books and field guides for children and adults.
