The Danbury Lady Lakers hot streak continued on Friday night as Coach Joe Miller’s team really got things cranked up offensively for a 70-46 win over Fremont St. Joe.

The Lakers came out strong in both of the first two quarters to gain the early advantage. It was a full team win, but Danbury High School got major contributions from their senior co-captains, Natalie Rose and Kamil Stephens. Maria Maringer and Maci Brown also had big games in the dominating win. They hit the 70-point plateau on a fast break layup from Michaela Harris.

The Lakers are 15-4 overall this season and 10-4 in the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division. Fremont St. Joe came into the game with a winning record but ran into a Danbury blue buzz saw.
