The Lake Erie Herb Society will have its annual herb and vegetable sale at Lakeview Park in Port Clinton on Saturday, May 20, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. A great variety of wonderful herbs and plants from member’s gardens will be available and includes free advice about growing, harvesting, planting, and using the herbs.
LEHS, founded in 1988, is open to membership and meets the second Monday of the month at 5 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton. Each meeting includes a plant topic, fellowship and refreshments.
In the spotlight will be Ginger, the 2023 Herb of the Year.
