The Port Clinton Lady Redskins gained a 58-29 basketball win over Edison Friday night. However, there was even bigger news that came out of the victory.

Junior Da’Carilya “DC” Lanier scored 25 points in the win. That pushed her over the 1,000 point mark for her Port Clinton career.

Lanier is definitely within range of Lindsay Mann’s school career scoring record of 1,407 points.

With the win, the Lady Redskins upped their record to 8-4 and 3-2 in the Bay Division of the Sandusky Bay Conference.
