Members of the Port Clinton High School Leadership Council show off the Keeping It Local raffle tickets they will be selling to benefit local businesses.
Port Clinton High School Leadership Council appreciates support from local businesses for various events and fundraisers. To give back to the Port Clinton community during a pandemic, students have organized the Keeping it Local campaign.
Students met virtually with Nicole Kochensparger, President of the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, to organize an event that would help area businesses. Leadership Council members decided on a reverse fundraiser and are selling raffle tickets for $10 each for a chance to win $50 Chamber of Commerce gift certificates. There will be 15 gift certificates to be given away, and they can be used at more than 45 local businesses. All proceeds will benefit local businesses. For tickets call the Port Clinton High School Main Office at 419-734-2147 and join Port Clinton students in keeping it local.
