Are you interested in honing your leadership skills? Waking up your “Quarantine Brain”?
The Leadership Ottawa County Board is trying something new, offering a LOC Virtual Leadership Institute for its 2020 Class this summer.
Class begins Tuesday, July 28 at 7-8 p.m. and ends Sept. 15. If you have questions, please email Carrie Sanchez at carrie.j.sanchez@gmail.com. Group discounts and a special rate for LOC alumni are available.
Cost of the 8-week virtual course is $179, which includes a textbook and workbook, weekly virtual lessons, discussion boards with peers, and leadership simulations.
The virtual format is due to limited access to community organizations because of COVID-19. As a result, the mission of Leadership Ottawa County will continue in a virtual format.
The Summer 2020 LOC Virtual Leadership Institute will be a unique new learning opportunity led by Carrie Sanchez, LOC Program Director. Sanchez will lead LOC Virtual Institute participants through a variety of engaging and purposeful activities designed to help leaders in all areas develop richer and more powerful leadership skills, especially during these extraordinary times.
