Are you interested in honing your leadership skills? Waking up your “Quarantine Brain”?

The Leadership Ottawa County Board is trying something new, offering a LOC Virtual Leadership Institute for its 2020 Class this summer.

Class begins Tuesday, July 28 at 7-8 p.m. and ends Sept. 15. If you have questions, please email Carrie Sanchez at carrie.j.sanchez@gmail.com. Group discounts and a special rate for LOC alumni are available.

Cost of the 8-week virtual course is $179, which includes a textbook and workbook, weekly virtual lessons, discussion boards with peers, and leadership simulations.

The virtual format is due to limited access to community organizations because of COVID-19. As a result, the mission of Leadership Ottawa County will continue in a virtual format.

The Summer 2020 LOC Virtual Leadership Institute will be a unique new learning opportunity led by Carrie Sanchez, LOC Program Director. Sanchez will lead LOC Virtual Institute participants through a variety of engaging and purposeful activities designed to help leaders in all areas develop richer and more powerful leadership skills, especially during these extraordinary times.

Plan to join leaders from across Ottawa County and beyond in this unique 8-week course. Check out the FAQ at www.bit.ly/2NoXF0P A link to the application form can also be found at this site.
