Lakelynn Littles & Home is a new shop in downtown Port Clinton that is bringing a fun environment for children and shoppers. “Littles” offers an array of children’s quality apparel (newborn to 14-year-olds) toys, games, accessories, shoes and home goods.

Kids can play with merchandise before purchasing and be entertained while Mom and Dad shop.

Lakelynn Littles at 129 E. 2nd Street in downtown Port Clinton, is owned by Abbie Fox, a local resident who also owns Lakelynn Design Boutique on Madison Street in Port Clinton, as well as in Sandusky. “Littles” has been in the works for almost two years.

“I just needed the perfect downtown Port Clinton location, and on Second Street I’m right next to RJ’s Ice Cream and The Port Clinton Candy Company,” said Fox. “What a great family-oriented corner of downtown Port Clinton!

Abbe Fox was named the Port Clinton Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year at its annual Dinner and Awards ceremony in April.

“Our pops of yellow in the stores and our bright yellow bags represent my childhood home, which was yellow. It was also where I could express my creativity, and where I played with my friends,” said Fox. “I have the fondest childhood memories of my early years.”

Fox has filled the Lakelynn Littles & Home shelves with very eclectic merchandise, something she does when stocking all of her shops.

“I look for the old-fashioned, small business made, USA-made products,” she said. “I hope to continue to give back to the community by creating local jobs, and wanting to give the community what it’s missing.”

Fox was chosen as this year to be honored as Main Street Port Clinton Walleye Festival’s Grand Marshall of the Walleye Festival’s Fraternal Order of Eagles Grande Parade on May 28. Each year, Main Street Port Clinton recognizes an individual or organization at the Walleye Festival who has made a positive impact on the Port Clinton Community. Fox was named the Port Clinton Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year at its annual Dinner and Awards ceremony in April.
