Last Sunday, the drawings for the state baseball tournaments took place, and the three local teams found out where and who they’ll be playing.
Port Clinton, seeded ninth in the Division II Fremont District, will play No. 8 Vermilion on the road on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The winner takes on the second-seeded team, Perkins, on the road on May 20 at 5 p.m.
Oak Harbor, the No. 9 team in the Div. III Norwalk District, plays No. 6 Seneca East in Attica on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The winner faces either No. 4 Bucyrus Wynford or No. 11 Woodmore on May 20 at 5 p.m. at a site to be determined.
Danbury, seeded 11th in the Div. IV Clyde District, faces No. 5 Toledo Christian on the road at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The winner takes on No. 2 Norwalk St. Paul on the road on May 19 at p.m.
