Oak Harbor, Port Clinton and Danbury recently attended the district draws, and know the teams they could potentially face when the OHSAA softball tournament begins on Monday.
The Rockets and the Redskins are both in the Division II Genoa District and the Lakers play in the Div. IV Oak Harbor District.
Oak Harbor is the top seed in its district and will play the winner of Rogers and Rossford on May 14 at 5 p.m. at home in a sectional final. Port Clinton plays on May 14 at 5 p.m. against Clyde, the No. 3 seed, in a sectional final. The ‘Skins are seeded No. 7.
Danbury, meanwhile, is seeded eighth in its district and faces the No. 10 team, Emmanuel Christian, in a sectional semifinal. The winner faces Hopewell-Loudon, No. 2 in the district, in the sectional final on May 13 at 5 p.m. in Bascom.
