Luke Halsey

Port Clinton High School announced the Senior Spotlights for December 2021 are Luke Halsey and Marcella Brenner.

Luke Halsey is President of the National Honor Society, Treasurer for Leadership Council and a Freshmen Mentor at Port Clinton High School.

He will be a four year member of the Port Clinton baseball team, spending a great deal of time working in the off season, as well.  Halsey has been part of the “Lead Like a Redskin” program for the past three years.

Halsey was selected by his peers to be one of the senior representatives on the 2021 Port Clinton Homecoming Court.  Outside of school Luke enjoys playing the guitar. He is the son of Geoff and Cheryl Halsey. Next year he plans to continue his education majoring in Business and Finance.

Marcella Brenner

Marcella Brenner has been very active in student life at Port Clinton High School by being the Secretary of Leadership Council, Treasurer of National Honor Society, and a Freshmen Mentor.  She was also selected to be part of the Lead Like a Redskin program at Port Clinton.

Brenner has been a four-year member of the Port Clinton Volleyball Team, Girls Basketball team and Track.  She was chosen as captain of the 2021 volleyball team and selected by her peers as the 2021 PCHS Homecoming Queen.

Brenner is the daughter of Joe and Christine Brenner.  Next year, she plans to continue her education while majoring in Biology.
