The Magruder Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers were honored recently at the annual Magruder Appreciation Luncheon, which recognizes the many Auxiliary Volunteers who provided various services for the hospital throughout the previous year.
Adding a special touch to the heartwarming occasion for volunteers was a professional slide show of their many activities throughout 2018 created by Nick James Productions and a Style Show by Fabulous Female followed to the delight of those in attendance. Of course, the highlight of this event was the Presentation of Awards.
For the year 2018 the following were recognized: 75 Auxiliary volunteers overall who provided a total of 12,576 service hours, 41 of those Volunteers received pins in acknowledgement of their specific hours of service. Special credit was given to Vanda Wahlers for her accumulation of 3,500 hours of service to the hospital.
Magruder Hospital is truly blessed with such wonderful volunteers who freely give of their time, along with being assets to the community which they choose to serve. A special thank you to this wonderful group of Volunteers.
