The Port Clinton Kiwanis Club and Magruder Hospital will be offering this year’s annual Community Health Screening Program this year on Saturday, May 4, from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Magruder Hospital conference center. For over 25 years, Magruder and the Port Clinton Kiwanis Club have jointly sponsored and cooperated to make this screening service available to the community at a reasonable cost, providing individuals an opportunity to detect health problems before symptoms appear.
A comprehensive blood analysis will be available at the screening. The price for this screening is $40 and is not reimbursable by insurance. The blood analysis allows detection of many conditions including heart disease, anemia, bone disease, diabetes, kidney disease, gout and liver disease.
In addition, a colorectal test kit is available for a $6 charge. Other services/screenings such as blood pressure testing, height, weight and nutritional advice will also be available to participants at no cost.
Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment call 419-732-4061 by Monday, April 29.
