Margaret Snow, 92, of Port Clinton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, in Westerville. She was born Jan. 30, 1929, in Port Clinton, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Gillan) Lukac. She was a 1947 graduate of Port Clinton High School. Margaret married William E. Snow on Feb. 12, 1966, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2006. Margaret previously worked for Ohio Edison and later sold Avon products for over 25 years. Through her Avon sales, she made many longtime friends. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton where she was active in cleaning the church for many years and she was also a member of Elks Lodge No. 1718, Port Clinton. She always enjoyed her 5 p.m. glass of Chardonnay.
Surviving are her daughter: Tracy (Kent) Wininger of Westerville; step-grandson: Matthew; sister: Helen Ahrens and her grand dog and buddy Bernie. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Bill; brothers: Joe Lukac, John Lukac; sisters: Mary Yeager and Ann Warner.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Jonathon Wight 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to: Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd.
