Marianne Kelly, 75, of Port Clinton passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. She was born on Jan. 21, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late John Daly and Anna (Brown) Daly-Courtney.
Marianne attended Sheepshead Bay High School and took courses at various colleges in New Jersey and Ohio. She started her own graphic arts business and operated it for over 25 years.
She was well travelled in Europe and America. Her pride and joy were her family, Cody and Kathleen- her grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. She loved books, travel, boating, and warm weather.
Survivors include her husband, John Dunn; daughter, Laurie Kelly-Smith; grandchildren, Cody and Kathleen Smith; sons-in-law, Tim Smith and Keith Batterton; and brother, Al Daly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kathleen Kelly; and brothers, Tom Daly and John Daly.
Per Marianne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Marianne’s remains will be interred in New Jersey at a date yet to be determined.
The Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio, assisted the family with arrangements.
