Marjorie A. Holihan, 96, of Catawba Island passed away July 22 at her home. She was born Oct. 4, 1925, in Rocky River, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Bradley) Baxter. Marjorie was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Catawba Island, Catawba Island Club and she loved to golf, play bridge and going to her book club.
Surviving are her children: John Hulsebus of Miss., Heather Lehrmann of Midland, Mich., Tim Hulsebus of Farmington Hills, Mich., Brett Holihan of Lincoln, Neb., Scott Holihan of Stuart, Fla., Charlie Wardell of Sparta, N.J., Marilyn Smith of Neptune, N.J.; grandchildren: Sara O’ Connor, Jay Hulsebus, Zack Holihan, Shelley Anderson, Kyle Lehrmann, Sophie Holihan, Chuck Wardell, Tori Reade, Todd Wardell, Heather Smith; great-grandchildren: Nora, Alyssia, Anthony, Emalee, Nathan, Hailey, Tyler, Erin, Hayden and Kaity. She was preceded in death by her three husbands: John Hulsebus, Ralph Holihan, Charlie Wardell; and son: Craig Holihan.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Ottawa County Humane Society, 2424 E. Sand Rd.
