Marjorie Ann Brajkovich, 91, of Marblehead, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2. She was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Cleveland, the daughter of Joseph and Loretta (Weber) Rieke. Marge was previously the secretary to the administrator of Kaiser Permanente Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead.
Surviving are her husband John whom she married on Oct. 14, 1950; son: Thomas (Christine) Brajkovich of Medina; daughter: Lynn VanAuker of Richfield; son-in-law: Rob Strahm of Key Largo, Fla.; grandchildren: John (Janeve) Brajkovich, Erin (Brett) Zelenak, Mark (Hilary) VanAuker, Lindsey VanAuker, Bradley Strahm; great-grandchildren: Andrew Zelenak, Garett Zelenak, Nathan Brajkovich, Anna Brajkovich, Ian Brajkovich, Ella VanAuker; sister: Rosemary Saxer of Medina; nephews: Matthew Saxer and Mark Saxer. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Donna Strahm; son-in-law: John VanAuker; brother-in-law: Robert Saxer; nephew: David Saxer.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father James Brown 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay, Marblehead, where visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. until the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor’s choice.
