Now, despite the fact that the lake is frozen, there are several inches of snow on the ground and temps are barely double digits, for a good number of us, the fact that pitchers and catchers reported to spring training in Florida and Arizona last week is a sign of hope and reinforces the fact that spring is right around the corner.

For those in the 43452, what started five years ago as a way to get back to some level of “normal” at the tail end of Covid has turned into an annual pilgrimage westward to 5/3 Field in downtown Toledo to watch the World Famous Toledo Mud Hens.

The annual “PC Day at 5/3 Field” tradition will continue as the Mud Hens have set aside Sunday, Aug. 17 for this special event!

From the National Anthem and first pitch to the seventh inning stretch and Hometown Hero, PC will be on display throughout the ballpark.
