Corduroy Road
September has arrived and the MOM Entertainment Stage in downtown Port Clinton this week will feature Jeff Stewart, Corduroy Road, Athens Wheeler and Distant Couzins bands as the summer entertainment heads down the home stretch.
Jeff Stewart’s approach on Thursday, Sept. 2 at 8 p.m. is straight-forward: a man, his guitar, and a wide-eyed look at that crazy thing called love. His tightly crafted original songs paint the picture of a heart, once broken, suddenly surprised by the good fortune of discovering love anew.
A popular local band, Corduroy Road has the prestigious Friday night gig on the MOM Entertainment Stage at 8 p.m., bringing its mix of Americana, blues, country and rock to the MORA downtown area.

Athens Wheeler
Athens Wheeler is a versatile, six-piece, rock, rhythm and soul outfit out of Northwest Ohio that takes the stage on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. They play remarkably diverse material, appealing to the dance floor and discerning listener. An Athens Wheeler setlist gracefully careens from extended jam to Motown soul to Appalachian mountain music, classic R&B and straight ahead rock and roll.

Distant Couzins
On Sunday, Distant Couzins is on at 3 p.m. The high energy group that plays dance hits for all ages to enjoy, performs at festivals, restaurants and bars, as well as private events. The group was voted Best Local Band in Toledo City Paper’s annual readers poll.
