Nancy A. Wisler, 89, of Catawba Island and formerly of Oak Harbor, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023 at her home. She was born Jan. 26, 1934, in Oak Harbor, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Strickland) Stamm.
Nancy and her husband Jim owned and operated the Western Auto Store in Oak Harbor for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City, Fla. where Jim sang in the choir. She was previously a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. Nancy and Jim enjoyed traveling and visited 28 countries.
Surviving are her husband: Jim; sons: James Greg (Christy) Wisler of Oak Harbor, Randy Wisler of Oak Harbor, Michael (Cathy) Wisler of Folkston, Ga., Tim (Tammy) Wisler of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Gregory Wisler, Angela (Andrew) Williams, Amy Wisler, Zachary Wisler, Aaron Wisler, Allison Wisler, Travis Wisler, Sierra (Ryan) Pafford great-grandchildren: Anderson Williams, Landon, Heath and Riley Pafford. She was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Florence Stamm, grandparents: Carl and Mrytle Strickland, brothers: Harold Stamm, Robert Stamm and sister: Joyce Stamm.
Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 21, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Jonathon Wight 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton, OH 43452. Interment will follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or St. Boniface Catholic Church, 215 N.
