Port Clinton High School National Honor Society recently held its induction ceremony in the Performing Arts Center.
The following new members met the membership criteria and were inducted: Elliot Auxter, Avery Hines, Elisa Pannell, Connor Bechtel, Garrett Hirt, Mark Phillips, McKenna Boling, Steven Holly, Michael Recker, Tristan Boling, Darik Hoyt, Alex Rumbarger, Megan Bolyard, Adrianna Hummel, Alexis Runyon, Austin Bradshaw, Olivia Jackson, Rok Scott, Ethan Carpenter, Jayce Kennedy, Haylie Sewell, Isabellah Craig, Brandon King, Noah Shaw, Hannah Cross, Karah King, Kierstin Sherer, Alaina Dackermann, Rebekah Koehl, Claire Snyder, Julia Davis, Benjamin Lucas, Spencer Spieldenner, Logan Floro, Kieran Mackey, Jasmine Stockmaster, Abigail Foote, Zayne Manning, Caleigh Sullivan, Connor Gillum, Jameson Mullens, Averie Webb, Emma Gottron, Samantha Nickloy, and Hannah Witte.
Anthony Panfalone, Assistant Principal of Port Clinton High School, was the guest speaker.
New inductees were: Logan Appleman, Christopher Knowles, Aliyah Phillabaum, Michael Baxter, Andy Koehl, Kaylee Phillips, Caitlin Chafee, Cooper Kowal, Alanna Read, Kyle Coleman, Cara Linn, Sierra Robinette, Brianna Curley, Omar Lucero, Madelynne Schurdell, Logan Faulkner, Justin Martin, Kathleen Smith, Andrew Ferguson, Jaxon Martinez, Dylan Smothers, Michaela Ferrell, Mason McDougall, Cooper Stine, Benjiman Gilleland, Hannah Moore, Zachary Weldon, and Zoe Hines.
National Honor Society at Port Clinton High School plans and participates in a number of projects throughout the year including: Adopt-a-Road, Halloween Spooktacular, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, CAP Day, Breakfast with the Arts, Reading with Santa, and the High School Talent Show. The NHS also makes donations to: Help students in need; Books to every Kindergarten student; Stuffed animals for the children at Magruder Hospital.
