Nominations sought for Joy Roth Community Service Award

The Ottawa County Republican Party is pleased to announce the Joy Roth Community Service Award, to be presented to a deserving County resident who has given their time and talent to make a positive impact for the betterment of the Community. Roth, who passed away unexpectedly in July 2020, was the founder and President of the Ottawa County Community Foundation.

Roth worked tirelessly for 20 years to promote its mission of “Doing Good Forever.”  This award will be presented in the memory of Joy Roth, who selflessly dedicated her time and talent to improving many lives in the Ottawa County community.

To receive Nomination Forms, pick up a form at the Harris-Elmore or Ida Rupp libraries, or the CG Salon in Port Clinton. The nomination form and brief biography of the nominee can be submitted to Diane Belden at dbelden22@gmail.com or by sending it by mail to: 2761 N. Bluff Ridge Dr.  Port Clinton, Ohio 43452  by May 1st.

All community members are welcome to submit nominations for the award.

The presentation of the Joy Roth Community Service Award will be on June 10, at the Catawba Island Club during the Ottawa County Republican Party’s Annual Fish Fry.
