The Oak Harbor Rockets and the Port Clinton Redskins gave a crowd of their fans a rivalry for the ages on Friday night, with a last-second Oak Harbor victory that was anything but mundane.
Oak Harbor won the Sandusky Bay Conference game against their visiting rival, 25-21, and boosted their record to 9-1, 5-0 in the Sandusky Bay Conference to win the title.
Port Clinton (5-5, 2-3) fought to the last gasp after seeing their late fourth quarter lead of 21-18 disappear. The Redskins managed to recover a a deflected punt with 19 seconds left, but stalled on the 27-year-line in the closing seconds.
Oak Harbor will kick off their playoff run at home in Division V Region 18.
