The Ohio Open Doors program will make two stops at the Oak Harbor Public Library, 147 Main St., on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 1-3 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 12 from 2-4 p.m. Oak Harbor Then & Now 2022 will feature local historians Dick Martin and John Liske, who will share pictures and information of Oak Harbor in the past and pictures of Oak Harbor currently.
Storytime for preschoolers is every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the children’s area of the library. After School Book Group are is Tuesday, Sept. 13 and Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m. Pick up a copy of This is Your Time by Ruby Bridges and come to the library to talk about the book.
Just for Adults:
- Craft Monday, Sept. 19th at 2 p.m. Fall Scarecrow wall hanging make and take, all supplies provided. Please register @oakharborpubliclibrary.org or call 419-898-7001.
- Watercolor on Wednesdays from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Bring supplies.
- Knitter’s Group on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Bring your own supplies.

- Coffee and a Book meets on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan. An unforgettable novel of a BBC-sponsored wartime cooking competition and the four women who enter for a chance to better their lives. The 4th Tuesday Book Club is Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m. There There by Tommy Orange, Native American literature that was one of the New York Times 10 Best Books of the Year.
