The Oak Harbor Public Library invites everyone to its Patron Appreciation Day Sunday, April 7 from 1-3 p.m. at 147 W. Main St. Activities and light refreshments will be provided.
Oak Harbor Library will offer a Fine Forgiveness program for Oak Harbor Library cardholders on April 8-13. It is only for late fees, not lost or damaged materials. This is a great opportunity for patrons to bring back library materials that are long overdue. Replacement library cards will also be available at no cost throughout Fine Foregiveness week.
New at the library will be a puzzling time in the Celtic Challenge (Escape Room) on Friday, March 29 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Ten people at a time will work on unlocking the mysteries in its Celtic basement. Every Tuesday the Happy Dulcimer group meets at 3 pm. Beginners without dulcimers can borrow one. A watercolor painting group that meets every Thursday afternoon from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The second Tuesday of the month has a beginner’s class. One Size Fits All Story Time is 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday.
Play Mah Jongg on Thursday afternoons at 2 p.m. The History Museum Center that is open on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. The Teens & Tweens Drop in Programs after School offer arts, crafts and Legos.
