Members of the Oak Harbor High School wrestling team got together recently with the Ottawa County Veterans Service Office to help an Ottawa County veteran in need. Without hesitation, Coach George Bergman and a few of the Oak Harbor wrestlers were able to assist a local U.S. Marine veteran by moving furniture up a flight of stairs and into his new second-floor apartment. The student athletes who had stepped up and got the job done were Tyler Davis, Chase Davis, Hayden Buhro, Dylan Schiets, and Aiden Hall. Superintendent Guy Parmigian expressed his pride in Coach Bergman and the wrestlers for this hard work, pointing out the their efforts represented the best of what Oak Harbor athletics are all about.
