Oak Harbor’s ShirLee Eberle selected ‘Lion of the Year’

ShirLee Eberle, left, of the Oak Harbor Lions Club was honored as the “Lion of the year” by International Director Gary Brown and District Governor Kerry Parker.

The Oak Harbor Lions Club has announced that member ShirLee Eberle has been selected as “Lion of the Year” for Zone 1 of Lions District 13 OH2. Eberle also received the Lions International President’s New Voices Award in Leadership.

Eberle received the distinguished awards at the recent Lions District 13 OH2 annual convention. Her active involvement in the Oak Harbor Lions Club and the greater Lions International organization, and her dedication to serving the community, were responsible for Eberle receiving the outstanding awards.
