JoAnn McNary, 82, of Genoa, died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 9, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.  Arrangements are being handled by Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa.


Caroline Ohm, April 21, 1944 – January 9, 2019

Caroline Ohm, 74, of Port Clinton, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.  She was born April 21, 1944 in Lunenburg County, Va., daughter of Bernard and Pauline (Beaver) Russell. Caroline worked at Mon Ami as a waitress for over 25 years.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years: Robert; sons: Tracey (Jodi) Ohm of Huron, Troy (Betty) Ohm of Port Clinton, Todd Ohm of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren: Jordan Ohm, Cameron Ohm, Kelsey Ohm, Ashlyn Ohm, Collin Ohm, Abby Ohm Dustin Silva, Daisy Silva; four great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Caden, Kyla, Kiara; sisters: Dawn (Tony) Valinotti of Florida and Barbara (Paul) Liberty of Las Vegas, Nev.

Kyson Alexander Recker, infant son, died Saturday, Dec. 29, at Toledo Hospital.  Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa has assisted the family with arrangements.

Dale D. (Brother) Trent II, left his earthly life on Friday, Jan, 11. Dale is the son of Dale D. and Kimberlee Trent. Surviving are sister, Tiffany (Trent) Gwinn; brother-in-law, Josh Gwinn and grandmother, Beatrice Trent, Aunts, Lori A. Kokinda, Sharon (Dave) Bacak, Vanessa (Paul) Kellog, Ramona (Henry) Sivinski, Theresa (Keith) Hartlaub and Beverly Whitten; and  Uncles, Richard M. (Diane) Kokinda and Darryl (Tracy) Trent.

Everett L. Wears, February 25, 1923 – January 10, 2019

Everett L. Wears, 95, of Port Clinton, passed away, Thursday, Jan. 10, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky. Everett was born Feb. 25, 1923 in Orma, W.V., son of Lona and Emma (Wilson) Wears.  Everett worked as a maintenance man for the U.S. Gypsum in Port Clinton.

Surviving are his wife, Freda M.Wears; daughters Barbara Honas, Connie Crawford, Sheri Wears and Geraldine (Bill) Skinner; son Michael Wears; and step-daughters Loretta Sampson and Carol Swearingen.
