Marie C. Collins, 86, of Port Clinton, passed away on Jan. 29, at her home.  Marie was born on Nov. 23, 1932 in Fremont.  Surviving are her daughters, Rosanne (Gary) Ziemke, Rita Collins and Sharon (Ken) Traver. Michael J. Despones, November 12, 1937 – January 29, 2019

Michael J. Despones, 81, of Genoa, died early morning, Tuesday, Jan. 29, at his home. Mike was born in Genoa on Nov. 12, 1937, to John M. and Evanne P. (Tuman) Despones. Mike served on the Clay-Genoa Volunteer Fire Dept. for 25 years and was Mayor of Genoa several years ago.

Mike is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol; sons Michael (Michelle) Despones, Jr. and Brent (Laurie) Despones; daughters Vickie (Randy) Schneider and Shelley (Mike) Harder and Melissa (Gene) Keaton; brothers Dennis (Ruth) Despones and Frank (Gale) Despones; and sister, Pam Jensen.
