Marie E. Schnabel, 87, of Curtice, died Saturday, Feb. 16, in her residence. She was born the daughter of Harry T. and Lulu E. (Boyer) Frosch on Oct. 2, 1931, in Toledo. For many years she was a custodian for the Genoa Area Local Schools and the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District stations in Williston, Clay Center and Genoa.
Marie is survived by her children, Debbie E. (Dale) Grimes, Carla E. (James) Bachmayer, James D. (Sue) Schnabel, Jr., and Jeffery T. (Christy) Schnabel; brother, James E. Frosch. Joyce B. Chumley, 86, of Port Clinton, died Feb. 11 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky. She was born Dec. 5, 1932 in Marion, Ohio, daughter of Herman A. and Opal L. (Johnson) Cooper. Surviving are daughters Christine L. Byrd of Port Clinton, Theresa Broadus of Port Clinton; sons William D. (Michelle) Byrd of Grand Bay, Ala., Randell A. (Cherie) Byrd of Marion, Ohio; and stepsons: Dexter (Sally) Chumley of Heartville, Ohio, and Nathan Chumley of Tiffin, Ohio.
