Thomas Edward Beal, 78, of Port Clinton passed away April 3 at H. B. Magruder Hospital. Tom was born on Oct. 4, 1940 in East Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Harry and Pauline (Wayman) Beal. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Elk’s Lodge #1718. He is survived by his wife, Lois Beal; and daughters Kimberly Sue (Larry) King-Bowers and Theresa (Fred) Erdmann.

Michael A. Elias, Jr., 81, of Port Clinton, passed away early Saturday, April 6, at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Port Clinton, the son of Michael A. Elias, Sr. and Anna B. (Barbrich) Elias on Sept. 21, 1937.
He is survived by wife, Bonnie (Gullberg) Elias; sons Patrick Elias of Wheatfield, Col., Todd Elias of Port Clinton and Jon (Katy) Elias of Port Clinton; daughter Jennifer (Jeff) Tallitsch of Sycamore, Ill.; step-children, Kelly (Michael) Zerkel of San Antonio, Tex., Clay (Kim) Copeland of Newark, Ill., Libby Gullberg-Stach of DeKalb, Ill. and Inger Gullberg of Sycamore, Ill.

Grace R. Johnson, 95, of Williston, passed away early Sunday morning, April 7 at the Genoa Retirement Village. She was born Aug. 10, 1923, in Sandusky, to Irving and Louise (Kruse) Taulker. Grace was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Williston, where she was active in the Dorcas Circle and the Blanket Ladies. Surviving are daughters Ann Nuhfer of Woodville, Jane (Richard) Phillips of Curtice, Judith (Kim) Cruthers of Genoa; son Alan (Renee) Bowser of Perrysburg and son-in-law, Kent Delventhal of Genoa.

Arthur J. Heilman, 58, of Genoa, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, April 6 at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Art was born Aug. 10, 1960, in Genoa to George A. and Rose Marie (Lehman) Heilman. Surviving are wife, Patty; father George Heilman; sons Kevin (Amanda) M. Heilman and Art (Lindsey) J. Heilman, Jr.; and siblings Glen (Randy) McDaniel, Mark (Penny) Heilman, Beth (Ron) DeVries, Stephen (Cindy) Heilman and Frank (Karen) Heilman.
