Jeanne Kokinda, 80, of Port Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Magruder Hospital. Jeanne was born on Feb. 13, 1938 in Shelby, Ohio, daughter of Samuel and Martha (Heston) Amato. Jeanne was the face of Rich’s Carryout for decades and was loved by many. Surviving are husband Richard Kokinda; children Kimberlee K. (Dale) Trent, Richard (Diane Gresh) Kokinda and Lori A. Kokinda; brother James (Char) Amato and sisters Carol McLaury and Mary Jo (Bob) Mays.

Ned Christian Kegler passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, surrounded by his family. He was born May 29, 1948, in Detroit to Ned and Rebecca Kegler. Surviving are his Catherine Ann Moody, and children, Michael Christian Kegler (Joanna) and Katherine Anne Rombauer (Roderick), and two brothers, Steve and Paul.
A former member of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and the Catawba Island Club, Ned had recently relocated to Winter Haven, Fla. A Celebration of Ned’s life will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Grosse Pointe Woods in the summer of 2019.

Edgar L. Irick 85, of Port Clinton, passed away, Sunday, Dec. 9 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. Ed was born on May 13, 1933 in Port Clinton, son of Frederick and Ellen (Hendrix) Irick. Ed had worked as a police officer for the Port Clinton Police Dept. for 17 years, the Danbury Police Dept. for two years and at East Harbor State Park as a park ranger. Surviving are children Anthony (Connie) Irick of Syracuse, N.Y., Kathleen (Steve) Sloan of Sandusky, Elaine Irick of Port Clinton, Mark (Christie) Irick of Clyde, and Daniel (Cathy) Irick of Port Clinton; and brother Charlie T.
