Ocie “Kit” Taulker, 80, formerly of Port Clinton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Bridge Hospice, Findlay. She was born on Sept. 30, 1942, in Woodville, to the late Frank and Carrie (Myerholtz) Reyome. She married the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” W. Taulker in Port Clinton, on Sept. 28, 1984, and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2002.
Kit worked in food service for 22 years at the former Mon Ami Restaurant in Port Clinton and for the Riverview Nursing home in Oak Harbor. Kit enjoyed crafting, painting, crocheting, and quilting, along with spending quality time with her family and friends. She had also been a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton.
Kit is survived by her children, Ty Trumbull, Doug Trumbull, Eugene Trumbull, and Stormi (James) Johnson, stepdaughters, Cindy (George) Brown, Amy Taulker, and Mary (Jimmy) Hutton, 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, siblings, Jack (Linda) Reyome, Ted (Dawn) Reyome, Sharon “Cookie” (Tom) Knepper and Sandra (Ira) Fick. Kit was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Jerry, son, Brentt Trumbull, brothers, Bill, Donald, Dick and Jimmy Reyome, granddaughter, Amanda Trumbull and grandson, Tyler Trumbull.
Visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 30, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water Street, Oak Harbor. A funeral service was held in the funeral home Tuesday, and burial followed at Westwood Cemetery, Woodville.
