The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will hold a virtual public meeting for the proposed intersection improvement at State Route 163 (SR 163), North Shore Boulevard, and Englebeck Road in Danbury Township in Ottawa County. The meeting will be held virtually Thursday, Aug. 20, with a project presentation at 4 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to explain the overall proposed project, discuss the alternatives, present the preliminary roundabout design and potential impacts, discuss the proposed detour route for traffic, answer your questions, and get input. The project is expected to require permanent and temporary right-of-way near the intersection. In order to expedite construction in fall of 2022, part of the intersection is proposed to be closed for at least 76 days with vehicular detours posted.
