ODOT: Route 53 closing on Catawba Peninsula

The Ohio Department of Transport has announced that State Route 53 on the Catawba Peninsula will be closed between Muggy Road and Orchard Isle for culvert replacement from Monday, Oct. 4 through mid-October.

State Route 163 will be closed for the Oak Harbor Apple Festival from Friday, Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. through Sunday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. between State Route 19 and State Route 105. The detour is State Route 590 to State Route 2 to State Route 19.

State Route 105 between S. Elliston-Trowbridge Road and S. Graytown Road in Harris Township is open again following a slope repair project. Lane restrictions are possible for finish work through November.

State Route 269 between State Route 2 and State Route 163 will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing now through October.
