Ohio Waterways Safety Council meets in Port Clinton

The Ohio Waterways Safety Council will hold its regular quarterly meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Port Clinton Yacht Club on the Portage River, 127 Brooklyn Ave., Port Clinton. A citizen advisory council which provides input on boating issues to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), the council members will meet from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The public is invited to attend.

Council members are provided a briefing by the Division of Parks and Watercraft on the status of ongoing projects and issues impacting recreational boating in Ohio. People interested in attending the council meeting should contact Heather Delfino in the Columbus office of the Division of Parks and Watercraft at 614-265-6552.
