The Ottawa County Republican Party will hold a Chili Cook Off on Friday, Feb. 25 from 4-7 p.m., with GOP state, county and mayoral elected officials offering everyone a taste of their chili cook off entries.

The event will be held in a large heated tent at Mr. Ed’s Bar & Grille, 255 W. Lakeshore Dr., Port Clinton in conjunction with The Family Freeze, a family-friendly event leading to Saturday’s Burning Snowman fest on the Lake Erie beach.

There is a $5 suggested donation for adults and $2 suggested donation for children 10 and under. Beer, pop, coffee and water will be available for purchase. While visitors are tasting the chili entries, they can also enjoy the music of Hayden James.

Attendees may vote for their favorite chili. The top three winners will be announced at 7 p.m. For questions, call Jill Stinebaugh at 419-367-3630.
