The Ottawa County Museum resumed summer hours on May 28. The museum features historical displays relating to life in Ottawa County, including exhibits on Native Americans, local industry, the Matthews Boat Company, the Ford Tri-Motor, military history, Camp Perry and the convict ship, Success.

The museum will be open from noon to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Visitors may also make appointments at other times by calling Curator Peggy Debien at 419-732-1039. The museum is at 126 W. Third St., Port Clinton. Admission is free.
