On Saturday, April 6, the Ottawa County Wreath Committee will host its annual chicken dinner and silent auction to benefit Wreaths Across America. The dinner will be held at the Port Clinton Elks Lodge, located at 231 Buckeye Blvd., with dinners being sold at 5 p.m. until sold out.

Tickets cost $15 and include a ½ chicken, potato, vegetable, roll and dessert. The event will feature a silent auction, a meat raffle and barrow of booze tickets. Johnny O Project will provide entertainment from 5 to 9 p.m.

All money raised will go towards bringing Wreaths Across America back to Ottawa County in 2024. Each dinner purchased will provide a remembrance wreath at the final resting place of an Ottawa County veteran.

It’s always a great event. No one does Veteran tributes better than in Ottawa County.
