OAK HARBOR – The Ottawa Soil & Water Conservation District invites the public to join them at their 73rd Annual Meeting/Banquet on Wednesday, Sept. 24. A BBQ will be held at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $15, and guests have your choice of chicken or BBQ ribs, sides and a variety of pies.

The entertainment for the evening will be magician, John Russell. Russell specializes in family-friendly magical entertainment. He brings a fresh delivery of first-class magic effects to today’s audiences. Russell’s high energy, infectious personality and dynamic presentations will delight the audience.

Attendees will be able to cast a ballot for the election of two supervisors between 5 and 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the banquet will begin at 6 p.m. The “Cooperator of the Year” will also be awarded to an individual/business/agency that has shown outstanding support to local conservation efforts either past or present.
