Can you name the different owls of Ohio?

Come and learn all about the different owl species who make the Buckeye State their home year round and those who migrate to Ohio in only the winter at a free Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge visitor center presentation on Sunday, March 17 from 1-3 p.m.

Self-taught, Missouri Master Naturalist Brenda Hente will share her knowledge and passion of owls during this exciting presentation.

Great videos, photos and stories of owls will be shared to help the audience learn all about these fascinating raptors of the night sky.  An owl prowl will follow after the presentation.

Barred owls are native to Ohio, but rarely seen at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. Photographer Jeff Vogelpohl captured its image recently, just in time for a presentation on owls on Sunday, March 17.
