The Walleye Capital of the World will be the focus of a nationally-renowned field of two-angler walleye tournament teams on Friday and Saturday, June 21-22. They’ll race out of the Portage River to Lake Erie fishing grounds each morning, and bring back their large Lake Erie walleye for the weigh-ins that begin at 3 p.m. each day at the Jefferson Street Pier.
