When you are playing for a Division or League title, every game becomes important. The Port Clinton Redskin boys’ team took that idea to heart Thursday night and scored a 62-42 victory over Edison once again putting together an excellent team defensive performance.
The Redskins and Chargers played even in the first quarter, with PC holding a 12-11 advantage. Coach Ryan Hicks group put it together in the second quarter to take a 10 point lead into the locker room, 28-18. In the second half, the Redskins continued their dominance with a 34-24 advantage to finish with the 20-point winning margin.
Jackson Beasley had another big night with 23 points. Edison’s game plan going in was to put the stops to Adam Thorbahn, which opened up things for Owen Auxter who had 13. Thorbahn still finished with 12.
