PCHS to host Ohio Student Councils Conference in 2020

Apr 4, 2019 | Schools | 0 comments

Port Clinton High School has been selected to host the 2020 Ohio Association of Student Councils Annual Conference. High and middle school student council representatives from all over Ohio will travel to Port Clinton March 12-14, 2020 for the 67th annual conference.

Students attend many small group work sessions, share ideas and receive recognition during the event. Community members will be needed to host and transport students during the three day event.

It is an honor for a school district to be selected to host the event. PCHS Leadership Council members, along with advisors Scott Cross and Nichole Wiechman, will assist in organizing all the details.  PCHS had previously hosted the event in 2014.

Due to the size of the event, Port Clinton Schools will move the Feb. 14, 2020 Inservice Day to Friday, March 13, 2020 so the entire high school can be utilized. To inquire about hosting visiting students please contact Cross or Wiechman at 419-734-2147 or scross@pccsd-k12.net, nwiechman@pccsd-k12.net.
