MARBLEHEAD – The annual Peach Dessert Social sponsored by the women of St. John and St. Paul Lutheran Churches will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. , Saturday, Aug. 12 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 S. Church Rd., in the fellowship hall.

The menu includes peach pies and other desserts, sliced peaches, ice cream, brats, hot dogs, chips and beverages.

The peachy event helps to celebrate the many peach orchards all around the area, and the churches have a tradition of giving local folks and visitors a taste-tempting treat for sweet tooths and peach fans.
