The 16th annual Perch, Peach, Pierogi and Polka Festival held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 109 E. Perry St., Port Clinton over Labor Day weekend will be another fun-filled event. The fest begins Friday, Sept. 3, at 4 p.m. and the fun, food and fantastic polka music will continue on Saturday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 5. The festival is open from 4- 9:30 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m.- 9:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Perch sandwiches and dinners will be served along with pierogies and delicious peach pie with Toft’s ice cream. Polish sausage sandwiches, soft drinks, adult beverages and ice cold beer will be sold in the beer tent. Food is also available as carryout.
The polka bands and their times of performance are as follows: Friday from 5-9 p.m. is the Frank Moravcik Band; Saturday from noon-4 p.m. and the Kordupel and Culkar Band from 5-9 p.m. The Eddie Rodick Orchestra plays Sunday from noon- 4 p.m. and the Duane Malinowski Orchestra wraps up the festival on Sunday from 5-9 p.m.
Admission is $7, $18 for the weekend. Those under 18 are free.
