Artist Kathie Widing created a painting of an classic red truck in a winter scene for students attending a Port Clinton Artists’ Club class at Sutton Center on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The Port Clinton Artists’ Club is sponsoring an oil or acrylic class taught by Kathie Widing on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Sutton Center, 1848 E. Perry St., Port Clinton. Widing welcomes beginners and long-time painters to join her for a day of painting, learning and fun.
Widing is a generous instructor and her painting style is timeless. Students will leave with a painting of an old-time red truck driving through the snow, and a holiday wreath celebrating the season. Masks are required, and the room will be set up for social distancing.
The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Bistro 163, the pay-it-forward restaurant at the Sutton Center, will be open for lunch.
