The Fremont Airport and Fremont Flight Academy will be hosting its 11th Annual Pilot Ground School for Private and Commercial Certificates for Aircraft and Drone Pilots.
The Ground School’s main objective is to give the instruction necessary for students to be confident to pass the written and oral portion of their flying test. The Federal Aviation Agency requires that a student receive ground training in several areas and the ground schools are designed to surpass all the FAA training requirements.
Experts forecast a major pilot shortage over the next 10 to 15 years, making this a great time to be getting into aviation. Whether you are looking to start an exciting career in the field of aviation or interested in picking up a new and exhilarating hobby, learning to fly can lead to endless opportunities. No one is too young or old to start learning.
Ground school will be held at the Fremont Airport-Hangar One on Saturdays now through March 14. The Private and Commercial Pilot classes will be from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Fremont Airport is one mile south of Terra State Community College on State Route 53. For questions and to register, call 419-332-8037.
