Ho, Ho, Ho! Are you planned your Christmas Parade float yet? Well, be sure to light it up!
Main Street Port Clinton is already busy planning its downtown Community Christmas Parade for Saturday, Dec. 7, and it wants everyone to start plotting and planning what float they will feature to be a part of the great tradition of a lighted Christmas Parade.
Interested businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate. Start planning your float, your marchers, and your vehicles, and be sure to add lots of bright lights. Participants will be judged on originality and their Christmas theme.
The top three floats will receive plaques. There is no fee to enter the parade this year.
The Community Christmas Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monroe Street, then travel down Second Street and end the celebration at Adams Street Park for the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Parade applications can be picked up at the Main Street Port Clinton/Chamber of Commerce office located at 110 Madison St., Port Clinton between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday. For more information, contact the Main Street office at 419-734-5503 or request an application at info@historicportclinton.com.
