A pop-up coronavirus testing site at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds has been scheduled for Friday, Nov. 13 from 1-6 p.m. by the Ottawa County Health Department (OCHD). The drive though testing will be administered by the Ohio National Guard, and anyone testing positive will be notified as soon as the results are available, said Director Jerry Bingham of the OCHD.
“Since August 23, the OCHD has seen cases triple around Ottawa County,” said Bingham. Ottawa County was also recently rated a “Red – Level 3” county because of the surge in COVID-19 positives.
People wanting to be tested at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds do not need to make an appointment. As people arrive, they should stay in their vehicles and get into the testing line, then leave after being tested.
