
Port Clinton High School soccer players and coaches assist with the popular Port Clinton Soccer Academy. Another indoor session begins Saturday, March 7 at Bataan Memorial Elementary.
The Port Clinton Redskin Soccer Academy was so successful Coach Paco Romero and his staff will offer a second session of indoor youth soccer. Session two begins Saturday, March 7 and runs through April 4.
Students need not have completed session one to participate in session two. The various levels include preschool through grade 8. The Port Clinton Redskin Soccer Academy provides all children, no matter their level of experience, an opportunity to be instructed in the techniques and philosophy of the Port Clinton boys and girls high school soccer teams.
The coaches will provide a fun and educational atmosphere to develop individual talent in a modified training model. The Soccer Academy will be held on Saturdays at Bataan Memorial Elementary from March 7 through April 4.
For specific times, based on age level, please see registration forms at www.pccsd.net under the News. Look for more information soon about the Spring Outdoor Session on April 18-May 16, and the Fall Outdoor Session on Sept. 12-Oct 10.
Players will participate in a 20 minutes of practice and play in two 20-minute modified Futsal Style Games. This program will provide players the opportunities to build their skill sets and provide a better game experience. Participants should wear flat athletic shoes and shin guards.
Cost for participation is $25, with checks made payable to Port Clinton Schools. PCHS Varsity Coach Romero and his coaching staff, along with other guest coaches from the area, will be providing the instruction.
